On Septembers 26th September the traditional Sant Ignasi and IHM Annual Alumni’s Meeting was held. During the course of this event various different activities took place

Among these The Career Day with the participations of the companies of the sector: The Ritz Carlton, Starwood, Hoteles Hesperia, THR Asesores and Tui España.

The heads of personnel of these companies gave presentation of their respective companies to the attending former students. Emphasizing the philosophy, the personal profiles as well as the importance of continuous training and promotion within the companies.

Following this the former students had the opportunity to be interviewed by the Human Resources departments, offering them the possibility of being employed in different positions in their respective companies.

Approximately 80 interviews were held.

In the afternoon the Annual Meeting continued with an exclusive visit to the new facilities of the South Terminal and its Business Centre which will be completed in the summer of 2009.

All The participants had the opportunity to visit the various spaces and technical features of the new and modern facilities .

The guided visit was held by the head of the Director Cabinet of AENA Mrs. Gloria Rodríguez and Mª del Mar Sánchez Public Relations

Afterwards, the meeting continued in the Majestic where a conference and a networking activity, organised by the company “ Proyectos TIC.com”, took place. Here prestigious head hunters had the possibility to select former students for possible placements in companies of the sector.

Former students enjoyed this networking activity and through it were able to exchange professional experiences with all the participating colleagues with the final objective of tightening the professional link between members of the Association.

Moreover various raffles were held by the sponsors of the meeting a cruise in the Atlantic offered by Simatravel, a weekend in the Hotel Montemar Marítim, dinner for four in the Rafaelhoteles chain and two lunches in the Loyola restaurant courtesy of the Escuela de Hostelería Sant Ignasi

To conclude all the former students teachers and companies present enjoyed a magnificent cocktail in the Hotel Majestic to celebrate yet another year the Annual TSI Alumni Association.
