What happen guys!!!!! Holland in the best group with Italy, France and Romania. The easiest group or in the other worlds, "Group of Die". Maybe in quarters, we can watch Holland- Spain or Holland-Russia. who knows!!! but your group it is the most difficult group before start. What do you think????

I'm not agree didac

This group is amazing and I'm sure that we survive this group. Italy and French are afraid of our little country.

Maybe we in quarter final we play against Spain. I'm sorry for spain but I think they are not reaching the quarter final. Sweden and Russia are much better than a spain without Raul?

Yes, very interesting draw. It almost happened, as it was speculated in the media. Instead of Germany there is Romania. But they are tough as well.

Am looking forward to Russia - Spain.

Its hard to believe we are in a group like this, the winning and losing finalist of the last world championship!

But that is only better, if we do make it through the first round, at least one of them is already out!

And we can start looking forward to a new bondscoach, since marco van basten quits afther the european championship!

People are not really happy with Marco, aren't they?

Italy is a team that is not playing that good. They are solid, but they are not great. France is also having its ups and downs. They have lost to Scotland and had a couple of unconvincing victories against Lithuania and Georgia. I think, the Netherlands has a good chance.

I would say, that it is Italy that has to be worried. But, probably, they are going to have some draws and victories with Inzaghi sliding with a ball inside the net in the 90th minute...

Hey guys. Last year alumni.

Just wanted to say that its good to see NL students being so enthusiastic ahead of what promises to be an ace tournament.

But to be honest, and Im not just saying that cause Im half French, Les bleux are gona trash everyone!
Even post Zidane, we have Henry and the new boys Benzema and Nasri.

Also wanted to say have fun in bcn and maastricht. I know I had a blast during my year.

Hello Sherif,

Personally, I really like football by the French national team. Their biggest problem is the inability to perform under pressure and lack of stability.

World Cup 2002, for example, when they failed to score a goal during the group stage, and EURO 2004 quarterfinal's defeat by Greece... I have also seen a couple of games of the current qualifying campaign and must say that sometimes there were not playing as well as they can.

On the other side, the Dutch squad is not exactly stable either, so the winner would be the one who has its nerves under control.

I just finished watching the Liverpool Man Utd Game.

Im soo angry. I really thought this would be Liverpool's year. DAMN IT!!!!!

With the French, we always had the best team on paper. 2 top scorers in Trezeguet and Henry in their respective leagues. AND they couldnt score a single goal in 2002!.
BUT... We still got to 2 finals in the last 3 world cups. This shows we still have have that winner spirit, something the Dutch don't have as they always underperform in these competitions.

As you said, Its gona be about nerves as they are all good teams.

Hows BCN anyways?? You guys are so lucky to be doing what your doing. I had a real blast last year. I think I went out every night! Chupitos and Shoko was a classic.

DONT miss out on the chance to go to Camp Nou. It was a real experience not to be missed.

Yes, Dutch team is not exactly a well-oiled machine, as Germans or Italians, but when they play the do it very well and it is a pleasure to watch them. The same goes for the French team, as well.

I think that there are two national teams that deserve to have much more tropheys that they actually won: Netherlands and England. They are either very unlucky or cannot perform in the crucial moment.

We have visited Camp Nou a couple of times, and it was a great experience. Not exactly what I expected, though, as I thought the stadium will be roaring non-stop, while people seem to be much quieter than in other parts of Europe. But the team equalizes that disadvantage.

I agree. I went to uni in Newcastle UK and although the stadium is less impressive, it was the best noise Ive ever heard. Saint James' Park defenetly rocked. I noticed that too when I went to Camp Nou.

Other than that Im interested in what you think of the IHM course so far. I know Daniela is great and no doubt she must still be doing well.

Barcelona block was quite interesting, lots of hands-on activities. Exactly what I was looking for. Well, there were some shortcomings, but it is normal to have them. Nothing is ideal in this world.

Have heard some negative comments about Maastricht block organization from a number of alumnis. What did you think of it?

Our Barcelona block was great. What I was looking for as well.

Maastricht wasn't all that doom and gloom. But yeah, less good. This is not taking into content that we had some great lecturers.

We hope we sorted out everything. We did our best to deal with the problems and subsequently, there were many changes.

Nevertheless, the time we had was an amazing experience. Soo many amazing nights.

On the whole I would say that my career prospects after my master defenetely improved. No doubt. So its all good.

It is a pity we don't have any Italians to make fun of... Spain - Italy 1:0. Every time they loose I feel better. Magnificent goal by Villa.
