Ok this has nothing to do with the hospitality industry... this is just for fun, and for anybody that might be interested.
My sister's husband is a show pilot for the Dutch Airforce and he has just started his tour around Europe to show of the capabilities of his F16. This weekend is the first Airshow in the Netherlands and the weekend after that he will be in Spain. If you are in the neighborhood I encourage you to check it out. Also if you want to meet my brother in law in person please send me an email and I will try to arrange this for you.
Here are some links:

Update: This weekend June 16 -17, he will be in Leeuwarden.

Executive Course “Value Creation through Meaningful Experiences” April 23-28 2006, Umbria, Italy European Centre for the Experience Economy / Nyenrode Business University Just in my third week of traineeship at the European Centre for the Experience Economy in Bilthoven, The Netherlands, I got the opportunity to travel to Italy in order to attend in the executive course “Value Creation through Meaningful Experiences”. The intense and inspiring week was very interesting on a professional and personal level. A wide range of participants and lectures from all over the world – b.e Joe Pine (Strategic Horizons), Mark William Hanssen (Lego), Duncan Stutterheim (ID&T) and Jose Maria Gimeno (E-Cultura) – made it a great experience. If you are interested visit www.experience-economy.com and read short summaries of every presentation.

Hello everybody!
I was looking into my Hyves, which is a social networking website and it came to my attention that it could be fun to create an IHM Hyves group. You can join this group and continue to build your network which is of course one the main reasons why the site you are on right was created. The fun thing here is that you can also see to which friends your friends are related.
Just check www.hyves.net if you are already a member you can find the IHM group under the college section. Its full name is Innovative Hospitality Management
Hope to see you there!

I thought some of you might enjoy reading this article about how successful Barcelona has been in "reinventing" itself. I believe it connects nicely with yesterdays presentation at the alumni meeting.
Perhaps somebody can contact the authors to get the Spanish version of this article!
