I have heard a couple of people expressing concerns about the surveys we have to make for the PDP subject.

Well, there is much easier solution to distribute the questionnaire and analyze the data. Instead of printing out a bunch of copies and running after your friends and family, set up an electronic questionnaire on www.zoomerang.com or www.surveymonkey.com. You can make a 30-questions survey for free on Zoomerang, which I used for my bachelor thesis.

Then you just send a link to your population, they fill it out whenever they have time, and everybody is happy. Especially you, because Zoomerang analyzes the data for you.

I'm agree that Zoomerang is a good tool for the surveys. I think I'm going to use it for my pdp surveys! Perhaps you can also use Zoomerang later for your in-company project?

Yes, if your research method is going to be a questionnaire. If you include just a link to the online survey instead of a Word document in the attachment,then your letter to the clients/companies is going to look much more professional and easy to respond to. Which will boost the response rate.

Quite a nice tool, right? For those people who had to translate their questionnaire to different languages -- you could have set up another free survey on the site in that language to save some time.

It took me 2 hours in total to develop a questionnaire and 1 hour to send e-mail to my friends, family, classmates. After that it is the job of the web site to work on the survey.
