He everyone!

As Maastricht is in sight I wanted to say a few things.

If one of you (Spanish, Russian or other;)) need some help with finding a apartment, just let me know. The Dutch language can be quite difficult! And i can help you searching, and e-mailing.

Also if you need any help when you arrive to Maastricht or eindhoven (with a lot of luggage of course), and you need any transport just let me know on time. As I live close to Eindhoven and Maastricht I can pick you up at the airport and help you to find your way in your new home!!

Actually for anything regarding this you can contact me, will be glad to help any of you!!

Sleep well.

loves to all.

Thanks Roel!!

I'll come back to you...Nuria and I have been checking a few sites on apartments and rooms and it's more difficult than we thought.

We'll have to be calling them soon, since emailing doesn't seem to make that much sense.

And...Dutch isn't really that hard!! It only takes a few good friends to teach you the basics and you get the hang of it!!

It's ok....it's understandable though!!

Talking about Maastricht:

From what I've heard (and not just because we've just come back from having loads of fun, but because Mallorca has been the first educational trip), the trip corresponding to the Maastricht block will be going to Berlin!!!

I'm sure that'll be a nice trip too!!

I agree with Roel, for the Dutchies it is so easy to help the others out. Maybe some of us have connections and can find an apartment or room for the "foreigners"

Off course, I can also pick up people from the airport when needed. I am currently asking a friend of mine who is a real estate broker if he has something (apartment/ connection) in Maastricht.

I'm also checking my connections. If we all keep on looking for you it shouldn't be that hard.

also check this website
There is a (renamed) link named "Moving?" in the user menu with links from articles from your international coordinators.
- Also search the forum and perhaps alumni from last year have suggestions regarding the move.

For those who are checking the website www.kamerburo.net: don't registrate but ask me if you find an appropriate room. I am already registrated so you can use my account to get the contact details. Saves you 30 euro !

It's very hard to say since you will not use your phone for the full 12 months of a contract and will not use it a lot. I would go for Vodafone or T-Mobile.., just buy a prepaid card and charge it when it's empty.

Xavi,

There are a lot of different providers. The prices don't differ a lot. Here you can see the different prices. I would go for vodafone, it works always and just is one of the best in Holland. Just buy a pre-paid card and you are ready to go.
