To share pictures you can use this site as well however there are much better sites that are build with one purpose in mind: "Share Pictures"

Flickr.com (Yahoo thought this site was so good that the bought them...) by many this is considered the best foto sharing site.
Picasa (Google thought this tool was so good that they bought them...)
Both tools have excellent tools to help you upload, resize, remove red-eyes etc. Also do they have excellent security features so you can control who sees your pictures or tools to easily share with a group.

So before you create another Hyves for IHM (one exists already) I would look at these sites. Btw if you search this sites you will find more information about sharing pictures and hyves.

Alright, after some empirical research done on Flickr and Picasa, I have decided to stick with Picasa.
