Dear, dear classmates,

We already send this email to all of you, but we would love to hear your opinion about this farewell party!

Everything has its end, so also our fabulous block in Maastricht. but before everybody is going on his/her incompany, we as in Laura v D, Bea and Sven (the innovative social committee) want to do a proposal! Some of you already know about it, but we want to organise a goodbye get 2gether drink.

When: Thursday the 5th of April 2007
Where: Barsserie Appart www.barsserie.com
Time: 21:00 o'clock till ......
Price: 20€, (unfortunately this amount was not included in the tuitionfee), but it includes soft drinks, beer, wine and assorted appetizers and perhaps a sponsored cocktail.
This money can be given to one of the undersigned before the 31th of March. If for any reason it is not possible to attend, please inform one of the undersigned as well.


Because it's probably one of the last moments we can spend together as a group (read: TEAM) in Maastricht, it would be great as everybody will be there the 5th!

Furthermore what do you think of a gala (party) in Barcelona??

Hey Laura!it is a wonderful idea!I am really looking forward for that day.(eventhough it will be the last day toguether for a long while snif snif...). Bea and me were discussing a place for Barcelona called Rosebud which is very nice!we will take care of that!

I think the Gala idea is really nice, but maybe a better idea to make it a gala dinner. I think we have not enough people for a real gala and for the parents it will not be very nice either!!
Or we have to invite people from the last years as well, but I am not sure if a lot of them will come.............

I am happy that Laura openned this topic in the alumni site because is something we have to work on together with the rest of the class and specially counting on your participation.

Well, referring to the party we're having in Appart, we have just collected the money of 6 or less people so I would like to ask you not to pay at the last minute.

At the same time, I want to remark that in this 20 euros there are included snacks (like meatballs and so on) and a sort of coins that you can &quot;exchange&quot; for different types of drinks (not just beer). Of course, some drinks require more coins than others...I hope I've answered some doubts that people from the class had about what the price includes...

I am looking forward to the 5th!

I think it is a really good idea to close this block with a nice 'last-time-get-to-gether-before-the-incompanies'!

Even more special will be our 'reunion' in September, I think by than we all have a lot of catching up to do and ofcourse, hopefully we will all be graduated by than!!

The gala-idea is really nice and special and I hope we will be able to organize this event and that everyone will be there. I like the gala-dinner, but than in combination with the party-idea, because I think, after 4 months of hard work and research, we have earned that!

I am positive that we will find a great location!

Hey guys I really like both ideas very much...and I will surely be there on the 5th.

Furthermore am I wondering if we could do the gala dinner at the nice St Ignasi &quot;Loyola&quot; restaurant if we priorily orginise it with the students who cook the dinner. This way we can maybe do it after the final farewell ceremony and invite the teachers and lectureres that are present.

What do you think?? And of course Bart Jan could be there

I think it's a great idea to do both; a gala dinner to have a wonderfull diner and to talk about our incompany research experiences and the party ofcourse to do some exercises and have a great evening on the dancefloor!
I rather prefer to go to another restaurant instead of going to the St.ignasi but that is my opinion.

Well this will be continued anyway, because i will make an appointment with the social commitee!

I also agree with doing a nice gala dinner and then enjoying and de-stressing ourselves in some of the wonderful nightclubs that Barcelona can offer us!
Personally, I would also rather prefer to have dinner in another place than the restaurant at Sant Ignasi. I remember that Sven mentioned the possiblity of going to some place at Tibidabo, that would be fantastic also because of the views you have there. But it depends on the price of course and how much we all want to pay.If I can help with something, I am available as I know some people in Barcelona who can give us perhaps free entrance to discos or help us with the restaurant.
And now, I am going back to my learning stuff...

I understand both: Katrins idea and the opinions of others...

I think, if we want all teachers to join the dinner (which ofcourse would be lovely and a great opportunity to catch up), after the Farewell party, it would be most convenient and logic to organize the dinner at St. Ignasi. This way, the teachers are easily able to go home after the dinner (or join ofcourse, even better!) and the others can continue the evening by going to a club as a group!

Having the dinner at St Ignasi will also have an effect on the costs. I understand that nobody wants to think of this at that moment, but it is still important.
But anyway, the evening is going to be great, no matter what!

Hello!!

How is studying going? Be prepared for the party of Thursday to celebrate the good results we are all going to get. Remember that the social commitee is open to receive help and propositions for both the maastricht party and barcelona gala that we are definetly going to organise and enjoy everybody!!

As citizen of Barcelona and ex-student of St. Ignasi I also vote on doing a special dinner in some special place in Barcelona. We'll be presenting in St. Ignasi and receiving our diploma and I think the best option is do the gala outside. There is wide range of options and we'll look for the best option.

We will keep you informed throught the alumnisite to give you details about it in summer period!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY IN THE EXAMS AND THE INTERNSHIP!!
