Hello everybody,

since it is all about networking lately let me quickly inform you about the just recently introduced student networking site created by some german students: www.studivz.net some of us are already members. The site is also available in Italy under www.studiln.it and in Spain under www.estudiln.net ....sorry it is not yet available in dutch but maybe you can sign in on another site...german or spanish??

The site in germany reached over one million registered students within four month and thus I found many old friends from High School and co. See if you are interested:log in!

Katrin, thanks for sharing. I was not aware of these sites yet.

Students from last year pointed the popular Dutch student networking site Hyves.nl.

In the US it started with the site Facebook. It's gigantic now and very easy to use. some info on this one can be found here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facebook

Hey everybody!
I have joined StudiVZ this winter and I think it is an excellent site to find old classmates and stay in contact with them! I have already met several classmates I haven't heard anything from for more then 7 years...
The only thing which they should improve is that all countries are connected. I mean, we are getting more international day by day and we have friends all around the world, so why don't they connect all studiVZ sites, so you don’t have to create an account for each country you have studied in... Don't you think so?

Hi!

I also registered as a member in the german and spanish networking sites a few months ago and I find it a very interesting idea. I have not so many friends in the german universities as I studied in Spain, but anyway, I think it is a great idea to share useful information about studies, master programmes and even meet new people!
