Now that most of us are in Maastricht, I would like to open a discussion about what we need in Maastricht, for example what do u think is the best Mobile company, I am sure that if all the students have the same mobile company will be much cheaper, to make calls between us.

Second do u know any place where we can find second hand bicycles? thank u very much

To answer your first question, it doesn’t matter by which mobile company you will buy your prepaid. For example, it doesn't matter if you will have KPN (Dutch mobile company) and will call to a phone number of someone who has Vodaphone or any other server. In the ‘Grote Staat’ in the city centre there are a few mobile shops who will help you for sure.
For second bikes, perhaps you can ask by the train station, next to it there is a bike shop. And if they don't sell bikes, they know for sure where to buy them!

About the phone provider and the bicycles.. I think Esther already answered that questions ! There has to be some shops that sell second hand bikes across Maastricht, so you just should ask around. A normal price is between 50 and 80 euros so don't pay too much!

For you all: Happy New Year!!! And hopefully today it wasn't too cold at the introduction day! Unfortunately I could not manage to come because I had a surgery last monday. But I will be in class on Friday!

Here some addresses of bike shops! A lot of people buy a second hand bike through advertisements but these are all in dutch so not recommendable. Like Esther said, go to the bike shops and ask the best places to find second hand bikes!

Taking into account weather conditions in Limburg, I would strongly advise you to consider buying a bicycle with a rooftop...

At the same time, it does not matter which mobile operator you have in the Netherlands, as long as your mobile device is waterproof...
