With all the group work and everybody sending large attachments my mailbox was always full, and causing problems when I wanted to reply / send messages or even receiving messages.

So initially I set up a rule on the St Ignasi email system that forwarded all my email to my personal account... well that does not work anymore even though it seems like it should as you do not get an error when you set it up.

So here is some help to keep your mailbox empty while still retaining all the messages that were sent to you!

Basically I would advice you to use a mail client, which is an application that you have installed on your computer that handles you email. Some examples are Outlook, or Thunderbird.

It is fairly simple to setup to connect to ALL your email accounts.
Here are the settings for connecting to the St Ignasi email server.
Select Add Internet email account POP3
User information
- Your name (you should know this... This is what will show to the recipient of your email messages)
- E-Mail address = this is the email address for which you are setting this up.
Server information
- incoming mail server (pop3)= mail.stignasi.fje.edu
- outgoing mail server (smtp) = mail.stignasi.fje.edu
Login Information
- username = your email address again
- password = your password for this email account
Then there are some "advanced settings that allow you to specify if it should remove the email from the server (default is yes) or if you would like to leave the last few days of email on the server so you can access them from any computer via webmail.
Please note that all the email that you download like this is on your computer and once it is removed from the server it will only be accessible on your computer.

I have also a question about the email.. This afternoon I discoverd that there is an opportunity to send emails from this web page to other members. You only have to go to the profile of the person you want to send your email to, and there is the possibility..
But I would like to know if you can also send an attachment with this email, or not?? If yes; how..? And if not; maybe an idea to make the possibility?
